Africa Cup of Nations 2024: Semi-final fixtures, results, schedule, groups and how to watch AFCON on TV
Eight have become four as the tournament ramps up.
The 2023 Africa Cup of Nations quarter-finals have come to an end, as eight teams were whittled down to four.
Nigeria became the first nation to reach the AFCON semi-finals with a hard-fought victory over Angola, before DR Congo came from behind to beat Guinea 3-1. Ivory Coast will join them after a stunning late victory over Mali.
South Africa set up a meeting with Cape Verde in the quarter-finals with a huge win over favourites Morocco, and Bafana Bafana will face Nigeria in the last-four after a nervy penalty shootout win.
Teams are already mapping out their path to the final in Abidjan with several fallen giants making for an incredibly open AFCON.
