Ahmed Musa named Kano Pillars FC GM

Super Eagles winger Ahmed Musa, has been appointed as the new General Manager of Kano Pillars FC, along with 17 new members of the reconstituted board.
The 32-year-old former CSKA Moscow player will lead the management team of his former club to the coming Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Musa’s new appointment was announced on Friday in a statement signed by the spokesperson of the Lano State Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa.
According to the release, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has also approved the appointment of a new management board for the club as part of ongoing efforts to further strengthen the team and enhance its performance in the next NPFL season.
This follows the expiration of the one-year tenure earlier granted to the board, which successfully led the team to finish 9th on the NPFL table.
The statement noted that Musa’s appointment is a strategic move to leverage the wealth of experience and leadership of the ex-Super Eagles captain to reposition the club as a formidable contender in the league.
The newly approved management board also includes Ali Muhammad Umar (Nayara), Chairman; Salisu Mohammed Kosawa, Member; Yusuf Danladi Andy Cole, Member; Idris Malikawa Garu, Member; Nasiru Bello, Member; and Muhammad Ibrahim (Hassan West), Member.
Others are Abdulkarim Audi, Chara Member, Muhammad Danjuma, Gwarzo Member, Mustapha Usman Darma, Member, Umar Dankura, Member, Ahmad Musbahu, Member, Gambo Salisu Shuaibu Kura, Member, Rabiu Abdullahi, Member, Aminu Ma’alesh, Member, Safiyanu Abdu, Member, Abubakar Isah Dandago Yamalash, Media Director I, and Ismail Abba Tangalash, Media Director II.
