Gov Namadi Condoles as Ex-Minister, Bello Maitama dies at 76

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that Governor Mallam Umar Namadi extends his deepest condolences to the family, friends, and associates of the late Alhaji Bello Maitama (Sardaunan Dutse), who passed away this morning, October, 13.
Alhaji Bello Maitama Yusuf GCON Sardaunan Dutse who was born on 14 April 1947 was a politician, businessman and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He was the Minister for Internal Affairs in 1979 and Minister for Commerce in 1982.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this difficult time."
Mallam Umar Namadi joins the immediate family, the Dutse Emirate Council, and the entire people of Jigawa State in mourning the loss of Alhaji Bello Maitama and praying that Allah grant him eternal rest in the abode of Jannah, ameen.
